Electrically Tunable Perfect Terahertz Absorber Using Embedded Combline Graphene Layer

Graphene is a powerful 2-D matter with the capability of extraordinary transparency, and tunable conductivity employed in emerging optoelectronics devices. In this article, design an electrically graphene-based perfect terahertz absorber proposed evaluated numerically. The introduced structure composed two graphene layers sharp absorption peak band. These are combline stripline separated by insulator substrate. position on band means manipulation geometric parameters layer. Furthermore, intensity frequency can be flexibly modulated varying Fermi potential layer, which controlled through external DC voltages without need changing geometry structure. It shown that tuned bandwidth from 5 to 15 terahertz. findings paper promote new perspective designing ribbon absorbers based properties utilized for future photodetectors, solar cells, thermal sensors above 2 × 105(nm2) narrow 0.112 THz.
